With its new CEO, Jorge Cassará, the Canadian company will take a new turn so as to adopt a marketing and sales strategy more in line with the local market.

Jorge Cassará told Pharmabiz that “Cassará and Apotex have found synergies on several fronts.”

One of these synergies is that Cassará will manufacture Apotex’s lines of aerosols, which will be sold in high sanitary-surveillance markets, mainly in the USA.

At the same time, Lepetit will be the new umbrella brand for Apotex’s products, which will be relaunched and reconsidered to fit the retail channel.

Meanwhile, the local offices of Apotex will continue to be in their headquarters located at 100 meters from Unicenter Shopping Center, and their organization structure will be renewed.
