El fondo de inversión Advent International sigue con su expansión por América Latina.

Después de haber entrado al 80% en el laboratorio argentino LKM –operación de la cual Pharmabiz dio la primicia a nivel global- ahora fue por más para conseguir retener el 60% en el laboratorio colombiano Biotoscana. Ver press release.

El fondo de inversión Advent International sigue con su expansión por América Latina.

Así con este empuje, el laboratorio nacido hace una década se prepara para abrir su filial propia en Brasil a través de la compra de una compañía verde amarella.

Para esta iniciativa Advent estaría inyectando una cifra cercana a los u$s 80 millones.

En sintonía con esta operación Advent abrió recientemente su filial en Colombia. La misma está a cargo de Diego Serebrisky, quien no respondió a Pharmabiz sobre este asunto. Ver press release.

Biotoscana nació en Colombia e inició su expansión por América Latina desembarcando en Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Perú, Ecuador, Centro América y el Caribe. Ver artículo.

Mientras tanto, Advent International es un reconocido fondo de capital de riesgo.

En 2010 anunció el lanzamiento de su Latin American Private Equity Fund V compuesto por u$s 1.650 millones.

En 2008 dispuso de un fondo internacional de u$s 10.400 millones apuntandos a crear valor a través del crecimiento de los beneficios. Ver press release.

Investment fund Advent International continues expanding in Latin America.

After having entered with  80% in the Argentine laboratory Advent –of which Pharmabiz made a global scoop-  the company has gone further and managed to retain 60% of the Colombian laboratory Biotoscana. Ver press release.

Investment fund Advent International continues expanding in Latin America.

With this push, the pharmaceutical company born a decade ago is preparing to open its own branch in Brazil through the acquisition of a “green-yellow” company.

For this initiative Advent will be injecting a number close to u$s80 million.

In sync with this operation, Advent recently opened its branch in Colombia. It is managed by Diego Serebrisky, who did not comment to Pharmabiz about this issue. Ver press release.

Biotoscana was born in Colombia and initiated its expansion through Latin America setting foot in Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Central America and the Caribbean. See article.

Meanwhile, Advent International is a renowned private equity firm.

In 2010 it announced the launching of its Latin American Private Equity Fund V, composed of u$s1,650 million.

In 2008 it made available an international fund of u$s10,400 million aimed to create value through benefits growth. Ver press release.
