Los laboratorios Elea y Phoenix vendieron varios de sus productos non-core en Argentina a Pharmadorf, del mexicano Sanfer, por un monto cercano a los u$s 5 millones, según analistas consultados por Pharmabiz.

El laboratorio nacional Elea y el británico Phoenix -que forma parte de la corporación GlaxoSmithKline– se desprendieron de varios de sus productos non-core en la Argentina.

Para el caso de Elea, se trata del antidiabético Diaben, el antiamástico Lirtodac, el antibiótico Memento, el broncodilatador Sedacris y los analgésicos Mox Forte y Mox 12hs.

Desde Phoenix vendieron el tratamiento de próstata Daric, el calciterápico Decalcit, el regulador de calcio Elasterin, el ansiolítico Edictum y el antidepresivo Karile.

La venta fue al laboratorio Pharmadorf perteneciente al grupo mexicano Sanfer, comandado en la Argentina por Jorge Alarco, y el monto aproximado que tuvo que desembolsar la compañía habría sido cercano a los u$s 5 millones, según analistas del mercado local consultados por Pharmabiz.

Pharmadorf  se creó en el país en el año 2002 y Sanfer adquirió la compañía en noviembre de 2008. En el pasado ya le habían comprado productos a Phoenix, tal como lo reportó Pharmabiz. Ver artículo.

GSK & Elea sell non-core products

The Argentinean laboratory Elea and the British company Phoenix –which is part of the firm GlaxoSmithKline – have sold many of their non-core products in Argentina.

Elea has got rid of the antidiabetic Diaben, the antiasthmatic Lirtodac, the antibiotic Memento, the bronchodilator Sedacris, and the analgesics Mox Forte and Mox 12hs.

Phoenix, on the other hand, has sold the prostate treatment Daric, the calcium- therapeutic Decalcit, the calcium regulator Elasterin, the anxiolytic Edictum, and the antidepressant Karile.

Both laboratories  sold their products to the laboratory Pharmadorf, that in Argentina is leaded by Jorge Alarco, and the total sum of the transaction was approximately u$s 5 millions, according to local analysts interviewed by Pharmabiz.

Pharmadorf was founded in Argentina in 2002, and was acquired by Sanfer in November 2008. The company had bought products from Phoenix before, and that operation was also reported by Pharmabiz. See article.
