La compañía anglo sueca AstraZEneca se está reestructurando a nivel global. Ver Plan.

Su iniciativa que tiene por objetivo lograr mejores resultados implicará el recorte de 7.300 posiciones en los próximos dos años, en todo el mundo.

Sobre este tema la farmacéutica se expidió oficialmente en el día de ayer. Ver comunicado.

Aunque las noticias sobre los cambios en AZ ya tienen antecedentes. En enero de 2010 la empresa había anunciado un recorte de 8.000 puestos de trabajo. Ver noticia.

Y aunque oficialmente la corporación no detalló cuáles serían las regiones o filiales que recibirán el mayor impacto, Pharmabiz pudo saber que a mediados de este 2012 cerrarán al menos tres filiales.

Se trata de la de Miami, la de Bruselas y la de Singapur.

La de Miami es la oficina regional de América Latina, que en pocos meses se relocalizará en el cuartel general de AstraZeneca Estados Unidos, ubicado en Willmignton.

La de Bruselas es hasta el momento la oficina central de Europa, la que se ubicará en Gran Bretaña, donde está la headquarter global de la corporación.

A su vez, el brazo de Singapur se mudaría hacia China.

Mientras tanto, en la Argentina ya pusieron primera y arrancaron reorganizando el área de producción. Fue hace dos meses, cuando desvincularon a Germán Pezzenatti, quien dejó atrás su posición como DT y site director de la planta local.

También fue de la partida Diego Krutiuk, el gerente de producción de la planta ubicada en la zona oeste del Gran Buenos Aires.

En ambos casos la compañía argumentó que la decisión estaba basada en un achatamiento de la pirámide a la vez que en razones de reestructuración.

Aunque ahora la tijera llegó también al área de Marketing y ventas.

Esta semana, el responsable de la línea de oncología y cuidados especiales (hospitalaria) Marcelo Sal, tuvo que desarmar su escritorio.

También Humberto Rodríguez Saa, quien estaba a cargo de la línea Rontag.

Según pudo saber Pharmabiz la empresa no logró encontrarle el punto justo a la línea de productos adquirida al nacional Rontag en el año 2010. Ver adquisición.

Y en este grupo que cerró su ciclo en AZ también figuró el gerente de capacitación, Gustavo Maurici.

Pharmabiz pudo saber que estas posiciones no serían reestablecidas. Como tampoco lo fue, la posición de gerente comercial que ocupaba José Paz Iturralde que por motus propio salió de la compañía hace un año y medio, y sus responsabilidades fueron repartidas en tres funcionarios. Otro que se fue por iniciativa propia hace cinco meses fue Juan Ignacio Diddi. Su posición era la de gerente de administración de ventas y farmapolítica y la misma fue subdivida para recaer en otros ejecutivos que engrosaron sus tareas.

Mientras tanto, la compañía se está mudando a sus nuevas oficinas que se ubican cercanas al DOT para dejar su locación en Haedo. Son 400 personas que trabajan bajo el liderazgo de Eduardo Neira, quien es asimismo el número uno de la CAEME, la Cámara que agrupa a los laboratorios de origen extranjero.

AstraZeneca ocupa el lugar 21 en el ranking de facturación local según la auditoría de IMS. La misma refleja sólo las ventas al retail, las que fueron de u$s 65.4 millones durante 2011.

AZ: Global and local turnaround

The Anglo Swiss company AstraZeneca is globally restructuring . See plan.

The objective of this action is to achieve better results and it implies 7300 positions layoff worldwide in the next two years.

In spite there have already been precedents about changes in AZ, in January 2010, the company announced the cut of 8000 jobs. See news.

Although this corporation did not officially give details of which would be the regions or branches that will receive the highest impact, Pharmabiz could find out that by the middle of 2012, at least three branches will close.

These are the Miami, Brussels and Singapore branches.

The Miami branch is the regional office of Latin America, which in a few months will be relocated in the AstraZeneca USA main quarter, located in Willmington.

The Brussels one is, until now, the main office of Europe, and it will be relocated in the UK, where it will be the global headquarters of the corporation.

The Singapore one could move to China.

Meanwhile, in Argentina the production area started to reorganize. It was two months ago when Germán Pezzenatti was dismissed, who left his position as DT and site director of the local plant.

Diego Krutiuk also left, he was the Production Manager of the plant located in the West of Gran Buenos Aires.

In both cases, the company said that the decision was based on a pyramid flattening and also, for restructuring reasons.
